Please note: this page was updated on 5-3-2017 to reflect the increased amount of scholarships to $40,000
ASIFA-Hollywood and the Animation Educators Forum are proud to announce the 2017 ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum Student Scholarship program. The online application site will open on April 23 and close on June 20, 2017.
Our scholarships are merit-based awards designed to support college students in continuing their education in the field of animation. Proposals will be accepted for undergraduate students entering the sophomore year and above and for graduate students working toward the completion of a thesis. Awards may range from $2,500 to $5,000 and be applied to tuition, books and supplies, animation equipment (including computer hardware or software), formal academic research and senior or graduate thesis production.
In addition, all scholarship awardees will receive a 1-year associate membership to ASIFA-Hollywood.
We will be accepting applications for academic year 2017-2018 starting on April 23 at our online application site. Eligibility requirements can be found at the Scholarship page. This is a worldwide scholarship opportunity. Applications from local, national and international students are most welcome. The AEF Scholarship Committee will announce the winners in July.
